Enablement of the Promega Corporation online product catalog in the Penn Marketplace is the result of aninnovative manufacturer contracting and enablement initiative that is designedto leverage manufacturer specific spend, increase utilization of the PennMarketplace, and support the contractual relationship with our preferredcontract suppliers.
All Promega Corporation products are available under a newmanufacturer direct discount pricing agreement that includes an exclusivedistribution agreement. Consolidation of distribution channels will furtherstreamline the ordering process and reduce time consuming and costly paperinvoice and check processing in Accounts Payable.
Effective January 5, 2007, all Promega Corporation products must be purchasesthrough the exclusive distributor relationship with Fisher Scientific,Penn’s strategic preferred contract supplier of research products.
