Penn Travel Services has negotiated preferred rates with a variety of local hotels to provide University travelers with discounted rates and enhanced amenities when traveling on Penn business. These preferred accommodations offer convenient locations, competitive pricing, and added value for faculty, staff, students, and guests.

Penn-negotiated hotel rates are automatically available when booking through Concur, World Travel, Inc., or Penn’s designated hotel links. Discounted rates and amenities are available for official University business travel.

Penn-Managed and Affiliate Hotels

The Inn at Penn and the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel are Penn-owned and Business Services managed properties conveniently located near campus. Both hotels are within walking distance of University buildings, offices, hospitals, and event spaces, making them convenient accommodations for faculty, staff, students, visitors, and guests conducting business at Penn.

The University also maintains a special membership with Club Quarters Hotels, a network of full-service hotels located in major business and academic destinations including Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, San Francisco, and London.

Conference Hotel Reservations

Travelers attending conferences are encouraged to compare conference-negotiated hotel rates with rates available through Concur. In some cases, conference rates may provide additional value or convenience based on location and event benefits.
