The Penn Travel Card: Simplify Business Travel Expenses

The Penn Travel Card is available to full-time faculty and staff who travel on behalf of the University and incur eligible business-related expenses. Applicants must be designated as expense users in Concur before applying.

To apply, applicants must:

Receive approval from their School or Center
Agree to Penn’s Travel Cardholder Agreement, provided by Bank of America

Applying for the Penn Travel Card will not affect your personal credit or credit score, nor will it appear on your personal credit report.

The Penn Travel Card integrates with Concur Expense, allowing eligible travel transactions to automatically flow into expense reports. This reduces manual data entry and helps streamline the expense reimbursement process. The card also offers convenient contactless payment through Bank of America’s mobile wallet.

The Penn Travel Card, issued by Bank of America, provides online account management through Bank of America’s Global Card Access platform. School and Center business administrators may also access the Bank of America WORKS reporting application to monitor card activity and support compliance with University business policies.
