Strategic Sourcing
The Strategic Sourcing team partners with Schools, Centers, and departments to source major goods and services for the University. Through competitive sourcing, contract negotiations, and strategic supplier partnerships, we help acheive the best value while supporting the University’s mission.
Contracting
The Procurement Contracting team develops, negotiates, and executes procurement agreements that support Penn’s purchasing needs. We work with Schools, Centers, and key University partners to manage risk, ensure compliance, and protect Penn’s interests.
Travel & Expense
The Travel and Card Management team supports the Penn community with University travel, expense reporting, and card programs. We manage Penn’s travel and expense systems, provide guidance on Travel & Entertainment policies, and help ensure a smooth, compliant experience.
Payments & Disbursements
The Disbursements team processes non-payroll payments to University suppliers and other payees. We also manage supplier onboarding and maintenance and administer specialized payment programs for research involving human subjects.
Sustainable Procurement
The Sustainable Procurement team promotes environmentally responsible purchasing and strengthens the University’s relationships with the local business community. We partner with the Penn community and organizations across the region to advance sustainable procurement practices and expand opportunities for local engagement.

Penn Local Business Exchange
Registration is now open for the Penn Local Business Exchange!
The event on Wednesday, November 11, will be held on Penn’s campus at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, 3680 Walnut Street. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. for coffee and networking with other attendees and leaders of several chambers of commerce and other area organizations supporting local businesses.
Registration is required for both the Forum and Expo, and we encourage attendees to arrive early to make the most of the day.
